The first electronics fair of the year has come to an end. “Electronik 2013” was held at the Swedish Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg and this year it was even bigger than last year because it was organized alongside with the “IT Innovation Expo”. The focus was on contract manufacturing, components, test & measurement, batteries and circuit boards.

Over 100 exhibitors was there to show all the latest in electronics, telecom, automotive, pharmaceutical, process, engineering and manufacturing industry. A good chance to make new contacts and exchange experiences with other words. You also had the opportunity to check out what the competition was doing.

On two stages you could also listen to panel discussions and keynote speakers who talked about the latest research and the hottest topics. They also shared their expertise and gave advice for future investments. Among many topics were “Lean and the effects of this work culture”. Interesting because Inission recently continued its Lean journey.

The seminar “A journalist’s view of the electronics industry”

At  our booth was Jerry Halonen (Customer Manager / Site Manager), Robert Bagge (Customer Manager), Leif Svensson (Customer Manager), Olle Hultberg (Managing director), Stig Leander (Corporate Purchasing Officer) and Jörgen Hurula (Customer Manager ) from recently acquired MicroMakarna, now included in the Inission group.

– “The fair meant many good contacts. Companies that we have ongoing dialogues with which we were able to meet and stay in touch with. We also got good response from new leads and it was of course nice that so many of our existing customers came and visited us at our booth. Extra fun was getting to know Jörgen, one of our new colleagues from MikroMakarna.” Says Robert Bagge.

Thank you to everyone who visited our booth at “Elektronik 2013”.
